Are you ready to elevate your career in a dynamic and innovative environment? Our client is a leader in the energy sector and are seeking a talented and motivated Transaction Officer with extensive SAP and Procurement experience to join their exceptional team.

**About this role**
The Transaction Officer is responsible for providing transactional support to the PNG Projects portfolio. The position will support the Project Controls Lead on each of the projects as well as the Project Services Manager.

Key accountabilities and duties for the role include:

- Manage the transactional activities for PNG projects (Developments & Projects);
- Ensure the proper registration, validation and reporting of Invoices and actual costs that are charged to projects.
- Ensure appropriate approvals in line with the relevant authority.
- Ensure accurate preparation of purchase requisitions.
- Prepare month end activities (Invoices processed / PO’s raised in readiness for accruals)
- Manage transactional processes from Coupa all the way through to Accounts payable.
- Ensure all payment allocations are directed to the appropriate cost accounts;
- Ensure that agreed plans, procedures, systems and guidelines are correctly implemented;
- Support cost control as required;
- SES invoices and submit to Accounts in line with agreed payment terms;
- Liaise with vendors as required;
- Identify potential cost savings / efficiencies.
- Process all contractor invoices on a monthly basis;

**About you**
- Extensive SAP experience
- Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders (Procurement and Contracts)
- Familiar with the use of custom computer software systems used for cost processes
- Ability to prepare and coordinate approval of invoices and management of vendors.Analytical / technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving.
- Experience in cost and transactional data entry
- Demonstrated experience engaging with external stakeholders.
- Interpersonal / teambuilding skills

**Our offer**
