This permanent part-time opportunity is available for an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer with proficiency in Xero, working 15 hours per week.

The role involves managing a variety of bookkeeping tasks for multiple portfolios, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Processing a large number of invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, handling AP/AR financial transactions.
  • Must be based in Brisbane or the surrounding area, as the successful candidate will need to travel to the office for meetings fortnightly or monthly.
  • Proficiency in using Xero is a must.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and responsibility.

Salary: Approximately $75,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation (pro-rata for part-time hours).
