**Job Title**: Accounts Receivable Specialist + Admin Duties - 30 hrs / week - 9.00am to 3:00pm
Total Office National is based in Western Suburbs and is looking for Accounts Receivable Specialist who can also do other admin duties.
**Summary**:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming payments, managing customer accounts, and resolving any billing discrepancies. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the company's cash flow and customer relationships.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Invoice Processing**:
- Monitor accounts to ensure invoices are paid on time.
- Process credit memos as needed.
- **Collections**:
- Implement collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances.
- Negotiate payment plans with customers as needed.
- **Account Reconciliation**:
- Regularly review customer accounts for accuracy.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and payment history.
- **Reporting**:
- Generate and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management.
- Analyze aging reports to identify potential collection issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- **Customer Service**:
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and resolve issues professionally.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
- **Experience**: 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
- **Skills**:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes *Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
