About the role

The Pre-Analytical Manger will be accountable for the effective leadership and operational performance of the Central Specimen Reception (CSR) department, Pathology Collection and Courier Services. This is a key position with direct responsibility for the development and streamlining of the pre-analytical processes within pathology.

About you

**To be successful in this role you should possess**:
Successful completion of Year 12 schooling or equivalent, with skill in written and spoken English necessary for performance of duties.

A minimum of 5 years’ laboratory experience working in the capacity of a CSR or Pre-Analytical or Collections manager.

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Proven track record in leading and motivating teams

Extensive experience in Pathology laboratories (Desirable)

Tertiary qualifications in management or Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Science or equivalent. (Desirable)
