**Internal Communications Manager**

**About the Role**
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is responsible for the development of new school buildings, major upgrades, and effective maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

As the Internal Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive, informed, and engaged workplace culture.

The role will require you to:

- Develop, manage, and implement SINSW’s internal communication strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand SINSW’s key priorities and translate them into effective communication strategies. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide sound advice and guidance on communication strategies during times of change or uncertainty.
- Organise internal events and communication campaigns.
- Develop, implement, and report on appropriate metrics, and establish feedback mechanisms.

**About You**
- Proven experience in internal communications roles.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align communication efforts with organisational goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling communication materials.
- Experience in managing internal communication channels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and key stakeholders.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate times of change or uncertainty.
- Strong project management skills.
- CMS experience.

**Essential Requirements**
- A valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the value of public education.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Proven success in developing and implementing effective internal communications strategies.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
