About the Role
Reporting to the Global Communications Manager, the Internal Communications Manager will manage and develop systems and process to support Internal communication channels, driving continuous improvement of communication across campus, regional and global levels to engage our 2000 staff, 9000 students and school community of parents and stakeholders. 

The role will develop and manage an overarching global communication plan, leading its implementation across the regions, and will provide communication support and advice on key global projects and initiatives that impact students, staff and parents.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative internal communications and engagement plans to support the communications across campus, regional and global levels on initiatives that impact internal audiences.
  • Oversee and optimise communication channels, including intranet, email newsletters, digital screens, internal social media platforms, and other relevant tools.
  • Create engaging and informative content for various internal communication channels, such as newsletters, articles, announcements, videos, presentations, and town hall meetings.
  • Establish a network of communication champions in our 125 campuses to help identify stories, content and communication opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with departments and regions to identify opportunities to improve and streamline communication.
  • Collaborate with HR, management and relevant stakeholders during times of organisational change, ensuring clear and supportive communication to address concerns and maintain employee morale.
  • Support the Global Communications Manager in executing crisis communication plans to handle sensitive situations effectively.
  • Regularly evaluate the impact of internal communication efforts through data analysis and feedback from employees.
  • Develop and maintain a range of internal communications templates and guides to support consistency of brand and language in the day-to-day operation of OneSchool.

About you

  • Educated in marketing or communications, or equivalent work experience in related field.
  • Experience in writing and producing content for a range of communication channels and audiences.
  • Extensive experience in presenting and public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  •  Sound project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • An understanding of change management and the ability deliver communication activity that support change management initiatives.
  • Experience in working in an educational institution is desirable.
