Our Operational Communications division is responsible for coordinating and optimising state-wide emergency and non-emergency ambulance response, as well as the provision of patient care through Australia's largest ambulance triage directorate.
**About the role**
Ambulance Victoria currently have an opportunity for a Patient Management Administrative Assistant to join our Triage Services Team. Working closely with the Patient Management team, the role provides effective and efficient high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Patient Management Lead. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Act as an initial point of contact for the Patient Management Lead by responding to administrative enquiries and processing messages for follow up and action
- Provide broad administrative support, including diary management, meeting agendas and minutes, preparation of various draft correspondence and documents (e.g. business cases, memos, reports, presentations) and written responses to correspondence
- Provide administrative support as part of the development, implementation and management of patient management plans for frequent and complex callers
- Coordinate and collate monthly/quarterly operating reports, as well as compile ad-hoc statistical, financial and analytical reports within given deadlines
- Foster constructive and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain office and administrative systems for the department for efficient retrieval and dissemination of information
- Maintain a filing system in line with Central Records to ensure all information is centrally recorded, stored confidentially and readily accessible
- Identify and correct conditions that affect patient/self/colleague safety by upholding safety standards
**About you**
Suited to highly motivated and innovative individual, the successful applicant will possess
- Demonstrated substantial experience and expertise in providing secretarial and administrative support within a large organisation or department.
- Previous experience in the heath sector is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of administrative systems.

The commencement salary for these positions is $60,858.48 per annum, pro-rata in alignment with the AVEA, plus 10.5% superannuation.
