About the role

We are seeking a Head of Asset Performance to play an integral role in the Victorian Business, through connection and support of the business functions accountable for asset management, asset information systems, engineering, and maintenance delivery across all Victorian concessions.

You will join an innovative and supportive team, who work together to get the best outcome.

Day-to-day, you will:
- Be a vibrant and engaging member of the Victorian Leadership team working to deliver sustainable growth of the Vic Business- Ensure the Asset performance team understand and successfully execute the role they play in achieving the Transurban and Vic Business strategy- Create and maintain a work environment that is inclusive, respectful, and accepting of diversity- Ensure the business makes good considerations with a full knowledge of risk and asset management implications- Provide strategic direction and foster relationships (internally and externally) to enable the successful delivery of maintenance (routine and major)- Drive strong commercial outcomes including budgetary accountability for major maintenance and routine operational expenditure

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- You’ll be passionate about great transport infrastructure and have views on how it can improve communities- You'll have great communication and interpersonal skills - ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels- You’ll bring your proven senior management experience, preferably in an operational / maintenance environment- You’ll be degree qualified, ideally in Engineering or Commerce- You’ll have commercial and operational management experience, with the ability to plan and manage budgets, as well as business planning and reportingWith a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
