Development Compliance Officer

Development Compliance is a dynamic investigation team with a purpose to ensure a safe, enjoyable and compliant Cockburn community. You can be assured there is never a dull moment with the wide variety of development and building work going on in the vibrant City of Cockburn.
Previous trade skills in town planning, builder, building surveyor or something in a related field or even a keen interest in planning, building and environment health will all be looked on favorably.
Planning Compliance Officers or Building Compliance Officers looking to further their experience and career are encouraged to apply.
On offer is a competitive salary, an attractive 9-day fortnight, vehicle allocated for operational business activities only, free gym membership at the state-of-the-art Cockburn ARC and an opt in superannuation co-contribution. Personal development is encouraged with 50% HELP contributions plus a range of training opportunities available. Flexible workplace options can be negotiated and there is some availability to work from home.

Situated just 22km south of the Perth CBD, Cockburn boasts an amazing coastline, beautiful beaches and parks, and is supported by a rich mix of community facilities and diverse employment opportunities.
**Hours**: 76 hours per fortnight (fulltime 9-day fortnight)
**Salary**: $86,857 - $100,922 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
