We are looking for a hands on administrator to cover a period of maternity leave in our Business Development team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate all inventory information for the team.
- Work with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for sales as well as developing new product ideas for the business development and key account teams.
- Responsible for all product administration including setting up new ISBN’s, creating and costing custom product.
- Assisting with presentations for the sales team.
- Updating and maintaining data in all applicable systems.
- Placing international orders and ensuring stock ordered is on schedule and will arrive by the specified delivery date.

**Qualifications and/or experience**:

- Previous experience in a sales or administration role and/or experience in the publishing industry or bookshops.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of retail environment, paper-based products and/or manufacturing and imported goods would be highly desirable
- Great planning skills, a can do attitude and highly organised
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, understand basic concepts of costing and ability to read a P&L document
