About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Child, Youth and Family Services, you will be developing and implementing programs to foster positive youth development and community engagement in Belconnen and the wider capital region. You will collaborate with local stakeholders, including young people, families, community organisations, and government agencies, to identify community needs and create opportunities for young people.

Your focus will be on building strong relationships with young people, creating an inclusive environment that encourages their active participation in programs and activities. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young individuals in the ACT and surrounding region, you will be driven to make a positive difference in their lives.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop CRCS's Youth Support services, including the establishment of social enterprise initiatives that provide young people with new skills, valuable experiences, and improved employment prospects. You will have the chance to design and implement growth strategies across the Capital Region and forge collaborative partnerships to reach and positively impact the lives of young individuals in regional NSW.

In addition to program development, you will lead a passionate team, guiding them to achieve program aims and aligning their efforts with the organisation's vision, purpose, and strategic goals.

A valid driver's license and access to a roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle are essential for this role to fulfill work-related requirements.

**CRCS also requires all employees to**:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
