We have an exciting opportunity for two Principal Rail Operations Integrators to join our Strategic Integrated Operations Planning and Assurance (SIOPA) team on a permanent full-time basis in Brisbane.

In this role you will be responsible for managing mid
- and long-term planning and integration of projects and initiatives. This will include developing and maintaining forward plans, frameworks, assessments, information briefs and capacity reporting to support the development and execution of corporate and strategic planning artefacts for the regional business.

**About our team**:
The Strategic Integrated Operations Planning and Assurance team brings together the key operational planning capabilities required to sustainably deliver the timetable in the medium to longer term and enables Queensland Rail to effectively navigate the future.

We partner with the business units as well as TransLink and Department Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) to establish a consolidated, holistic view of the relationship between demand for rail services for the regional business and the capacity to provide services at an acceptable cost. The team plays an integral role in coordinating decision making to manage a significant pipeline of major projects and activities to grow capacity productively.

Reporting to the Program Delivery Manager, you will join a brand-new team that consists of two Principal Rail Operations Integrators, an analyst and a technical expert that has been established to support the Regional business build up their integrated capacity planning capability.
**About the role**:

- Leverage the outcomes and insights from strategic operational planning artefacts to inform and contribute to Queensland Rail’s Vision, Purpose and Strategic and Corporate Plan
- Develop, establish and execute project management frameworks and processes including project schedules, budgets and risk management
- Support the management of Strategic Integrated Planning resources including the development of market tenders to engage and commission external service providers where required
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Queensland Rail business units and projects / programs
- Develop and maintain quarterly reports
- Support Queensland Rail representatives at relevant government bodies, industry associations and other stakeholder groups

**About you**:
Highly organised and resilient individual who is adaptable and flexible to work in an ambiguous environment as processes and procedures are embedded into the brand-new roles and team. You will have a positive attitude that displays outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Previous experience and knowledge of project management methodologies
- High level of skill in problem solving and decision making
- Extensive knowledge in long term planning techniques within an operational environment
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills coupled with a customer focused attitude to work collaboratively with stakeholders and provide evidence based strategic, tactical and operational decision making
- Previous experience in business analytics or an interest is highly desirable
