**About the team**:
Queensland Rail’s Property Team plays a vital role in securing and managing land and assets to support the functioning of rail services. The team is an agile, multidisciplinary group of professionals who are trusted and valued business partners throughout the organisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent relationship management and communication skills to join our team and foster positive relationships with decision-makers across the SEQ Network operational unit, helping Queensland Rail achieve its vision of providing a world-class rail service for our customers.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Manager Property Strategy and Planning, the **Principal Property Adviser SEQ** **(AS7)** will be responsible for building and maintaining internal client relationships and influencing significant property decisions and projects in support of SEQ’s current and future operations.

The day-to-day work will focus on working with Asset and Project Managers, as well as technical experts to ensure Queensland Rail’s property assets are effectively and efficiently applied in the delivery of rail transport solutions.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Adviser Regional to ensure a consistent approach to Property advice across Queensland Rail’s entire network that is adaptable to the varied geographic and operational context of our Business.

The rail industry in Queensland is experiencing a dynamic phase of growth and adaptation, and the Principal Property Adviser SEQ is at the forefront of these changes. As such, this role requires an agile, lateral professional who can adapt their skill set and knowledge to a myriad of challenges with advice anchored in outstanding Property expertise.

This is a **permanent, fulltime role** based in **Brisbane CBD** with a starting **base salary of $127,221** plus up to 12.75% superannuation.

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with a specific focus on client-based delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to source, review and deliver accurate, tailored Property advice to stakeholders or clients.
- Experience working in Property or Land Management within large infrastructure delivery organisations or projects.
- Advanced financial acumen and the ability to develop detailed costings and business plans.
- Understanding of Project Management and the role of Property in facilitating project delivery.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Property Economics or similar discipline will be highly regarded.
