The team are largely focused on ensuring OT systems architectures are fit for purpose with focus on cyber security controls and ensuring they are embedded into systems designs.

**About the role**:
Provide specialist and technical advice in the area of Cyber Security within Queensland Rail's Operational Technology Industrial Control Systems (OT ICS) environment, both existing and new environments.

You will be identifying, managing, and remediating cyber security threats and risks as well as implementing, monitoring and maintaining tools, processes and controls to continuously
improve cyber security practices with a key focus on reviewing project design and assessing and remediating cyber security risks.

**You will also**:

- Monitor cyber security compliance and bring forward innovative improvements.
- Develop and drive implementation uplift of security compliance within various OT systems.
- Produce technical documentation, specifications, requirements, procedures and standards.
- Report and perform system audits.
- Work with other OT Architecture and Security team members to share knowledge and experience to achieve required outcomes.
- Work closely with and provide expert cyber security knowledge and guidance to other OT engineering disciplines in the business.

**About you**:

- Industry experience in mission and safety critical ICS (industrial control system) environments.
- Experience and working knowledge of cyber security standard IEC 62443
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to unique and large operational business requirements.
- Any level of Telecommunications networking background or knowledge would also be beneficial (CISCO networking equipment, Juniper networking equipment, assessing designs with networking components).
- Ability to work autonomously and within team and cross sectional business areas.
- Confidence to provide recommendations to both technical and leadership audiences and drive initiatives.
- High level of oral and written communications skills with the ability to produce technical documents, specifications and procedures.
- Australian issued or business approved assessed/accepted qualification in Bachelor IT or Electrical Engineering are not mandatory but would be regarded.
- Industry recognized Networking or Cyber security certifications would be regarded.
