Fundraising Communications Coordinator

Full time hours (38 hours a week).
Due to the nature of the services provided by the organisation, flexibility may be required within the general standard working hours. This is to accommodate for such things as meetings, training and general fundraising needs. All changes to hours worked will be consulted and agreed to.
**Position Purpose**
This role provides the opportunity to develop concepts and fundraising content for campaigns, publications, donor communications, grant writing, digital and social media content, ensuring income generation to meet the organisation’s overall mission. The position requires the ability to work both independently and within the team to effectively prioritise tasks and plan work load. This role will execute a fundraising strategy for the purpose of increasing the value, diversity, and sustainability of fundraising revenue and achieving organisational objectives.

**Skills/Qualifications required**:
- Experience in charity and not-for-profit fundraising activities
- A passion for working with socially and financially disadvantaged children, youth and families
- Experience in charity content writing
- Experience in running end-to-end campaigns, from development through to implementation and evaluation
- Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Initiative and independence whilst working collaboratively within a small team
- Problem solving and critical analysis
- NSW Working with Children check
**Key Responsibilities**
Creating both direct mail and digital elements, develop concepts, source stories, write content, select images in line with GBB photo policy, manage data and liaise with external agencies as needed
- Development of fundraising appeals
- Development of newsletters
- Development of Yearly Review
- Other Fundraising Communications: Generate content for other communication pieces as needed which may include but is not limited to, receipts and thank you letters, donor surveys, donor servicing letters, donor updates, partnership proposals, event flyers etc
- Social Media: Manage GBB social media accounts, creating engaging and relevant content appropriate to the channel, using the GBB content calendar to plan out posts
- Website: Monitor and update website ensuring that information is current and accurate
- Marketing: Creating other marketing material such as program flyers, videos and visually appealing graphics to support marketing efforts. Ensure consistent messaging and branding and visual identity across fundraising and marketing materials
- Administration: Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to pull queries for appeals and newsletters. Keep all files on shared drive updated with relevant information
- Support the fundraising team with other ad-hoc duties as required, including at GBB fundraising events
**Other**

- Participate in individual and group training and personal development
- Assist the Program team in day to day practical and strategic support when required

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
