As an Event Manager, your role is to execute various events to meet the objectives and requirements of our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event management, implementation and evaluation. Your primary goal is to ensure the successful execution of events while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Coordination: Oversee logístical aspects of events, including transportation managing ambassadors, and on-site facilities. Coordinate schedules, timelines, and resources to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.

2. Team Leadership: Build and manage event teams, including event coordinators, assistants, volunteers, and other staff members. Delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, and ensure effective communication to achieve event objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations during the planning and execution of events. Coordinate with relevant authorities, security personnel, and emergency services if necessary.

4. Evaluation and Reporting: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports, including feedback from clients, attendees, and stakeholders. Use insights gained to refine future event planning and execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in event management, including planning and execution
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the event industry

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC 3000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
- RSA (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
