**What You'll Be Doing**

This role provides efficient and high level secretarial and administrative support to the Bankstown
- Lidcombe Hospital Head of Department of Anesthetics.

The role will be responsible for managing a diverse range of administrative duties including effective diary maintenance, efficient and accurate typing of correspondence and preparation of meeting agendas and minutes and other administrative tasks to enable the Head of Department to meet objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital. **How to Apply**
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and secretarial support at an Executive Level
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills based on a customer focused approach
- Ability to work as a team member, including flexible approach to work practices, ability to function with minimum supervision and initiate appropriate actions
- Demonstrated proficiency in minute taking of executive meetings including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and action lists, with the ability to multitask and offer a full range of highly developed secretarial/ organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as Health Systems including HealthRoster, StaffLink and Oracle
- Demonstrated experience in rostering and employment processes
- Highly organised self-motivated individual with the ability to function with minimum supervision and initiate appropriate actions
- Demonstrated capacity to organise a high level workload with competing priorities in a professional manner and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the service and organisation
