This iconic international company is renowned for providing non-toxic, environmentally responsible timber flooring care products to the Australian market. Their brand is universally recognized and trusted throughout over 500 outlets across the country.
They are excited about their future and have an opportunity for a Territory Manager to join their team in Melbourne.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will see you looking after the Australian retail side of the business. You will drive sales and revenue within your territory, maximising existing established relationships with designated large key accounts such as Harvey Norman, Mitre10 (IHG network), and Carpet Court to name a few along with a good mix of SME accounts to keep things interesting.
Although an established territory, there is plenty of scope and opportunity to build on its success. This role is based in Melbourne however will be looking after clients across Australia therefore some domestic travel will be required.
**What you’ll do**:
- Accurately complete all call cycles, customer records, and reports
- Generate new opportunities to increase business and profitability
- Ensure sales and margin plans for your designated territory are met across the brands’ product range
- Be personally involved in shows and promotions within your territory and conduct product knowledge sessions with your accounts
- Face - Face & Telephone contact with your accounts to be their trusted advisor, build strong relationships and be their point of call
**What you’ll need to bring**:
- Experience within a Territory Manager or Retail Products Manager position previously
- Possess high-level sales skills and have a strong understanding of the full sales process
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An inquisitive nature and possess the ability to think outside the box
- Be a self-starter, who enjoys working autonomously
