What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity for a suitable Communications & Engagement Coordinator to join the Aftersales team has become available. The Aftersales Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national parts and accessories activities including sales, business development, procurement, supplier management, Dealer support and warehouse operations to achieve sales volume, market share, profitability objectives and optimise warehouse operations to global best standards.
The Communications & Engagement Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Communications & Reporting team in implementing policies, plans and objectives to support the Aftersales Division. This role helps to ensure that the team can deliver effective communications and engagement campaigns for the division in order to ensure high levels of employee engagement and zero harm.
This role is based in Altona North and is on a 12-month Max term basis.
How you’ll make an impact- Implement and review agreed communication and engagement strategies, and systems processes procedures consistent with set policies to achieve Toyota Parts Centre employee engagement and enablement objectives.- Provide advice and assist managers in the development of policies and standards for the Toyota Parts Centre Engagement and Enablement Program.- Contribute to the communication of corporate vision, goals and news into content adapted for the Toyota Parts Centre environment and develops and executes cut-through communication initiatives.- Support & maintain (including kaizen) reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.- Prepare and distribute communication bulletins and presentations to maintain and improve sound communications.- Monitor and analyse engagement activity performance against targets for own area and recommends countermeasures where required.- Coordinate forums and meetings to ensure that project goals are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Degree in business, communications, HR, commerce, marketing or equivalent experience- 2+ years’ accumulative experience- Experience in project coordination, time management, corporate communications, and employment engagement.- Understanding of warehouse operations (desirable)- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with all.
