**What you'll be doing**

The Referrals and Meetings Coordinator is the key contact for all referral and meetings inquiries for both internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent is responsible for the timely management of internal cases and referred in and outgoing material for ancillary tests, second opinion and meeting presentation. They are to ensure the accurate tracking of material via the LIS, the completeness of paperwork and records and follow up of pending reports and material returns.
- Demonstrated experience in handling and tracking precious irreplaceable specimens within required time frames.
- Demonstrated experience with laboratory information systems, record keeping and management of pending lists.
- Demonstrable ability to work efficiently and carefully within guidelines and prescribed requirements.
- Proven computer literacy and strong keyboard skills with speed and accuracy, including use of digital transcription equipment.
- Demonstrated ability and initiative to work both as part of a team and independently, supporting your team members and management, with sound knowledge of administrative procedures in health setting.
- Demonstrated strong customer focus and commitment to providing exceptional services to all clients (internal and external to the organistion).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and verbal English and be capable of professionally liaising and working with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation using different modes of communication in a technical and business context.

**Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
