**The opportunity**
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Communications Officer to join our Corporate Communications team. Our multidisciplinary team works with a variety of teams within a large agency to build our brand and deliver marketing and communication strategies that resonate with our customers and stakeholders.

This is a terrific opportunity if you’re passionate about designing engaging and useful content that is easy to read, scan and find. You’ll be working in a team that is committed to using digital-first and user-centred mindsets to deliver innovative solutions and positive experiences for our customers.

You’ll also help us make decisions based on evidence. You’ll work with teams to track and measure how well marketing and communications activities are performing, share your learnings and recommend business improvements.

**About you**
This role will call on your digital marketing and communications expertise, as well as your proven ability to improve user experience and organise web content. You’ll also create and interpret web analytics reports to provide useful insights and inform future digital content strategies.

You are expected to have strong writing and editing skills, especially for web and in plain language. Your eye for detail and content planning experience will ensure content design and messaging are clear, consistent, effective and of a high standard.

This role is a good fit for someone who is good at building meaningful relationships and solving problems. You’ll need experience in gaining trust and be comfortable with influencing and managing internal clients. You’ll help them refine their communication goals, identify challenges and constraints, find solutions and promote best practice for digital content.

**Requirements**:
Tertiary qualifications in online communications, digital marketing, web content design or related field, or equivalent industry experience is essential.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to12 months

ASO5 - $84,522 to $94,003 per annum
