Digital Communications Officer

The Digital Communications Officer will research, design, implement and manage multiple digital channels of engagement and participation between the Commissioner and community stakeholders to influence systemic change.
The role will create and distribute content to engage stakeholders across multiple individually branded digital platforms, including websites, Instagram and LinkedIn.
The Digital Communications Officer will work with the CCYP team to continually explore opportunities and approaches to meet outcomes.
Requirements
· Produce digital content and manage multiple CCYP social media channels and create digital assets to support key messages
· Write, edit and design material on issues impacting children and young people for dissemination to a wide audience
· Build CCYP’s online footprint and grow social media audience
· Assess and regularly report on online analytics to drive reach and communications
· Maintain effective records, data, file management and document storage, including CRM, mail distribution and other records.
· Implement engagement strategies to increase awareness of and engagement with CDC and the Space to Dream travelling exhibition
Benefits
The role will be offered as a 10 month, part time contract 0.6 FTE open for negotiation and flexibility, with the view to extend.
