TAG Recruitment has been engaged to recruit a permanent Transactional Finance Manager Role for a valued multi award-winning client. Your role will be pivotal in managing our clients' day-to-day financial operations.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**:

- Lead the daily financial transactions, including oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Spearhead project finance tasks, including progress claim processing and retention management.
- Efficiently manage weekly payment files, encompassing supplier payments, payroll, and superannuation contributions.
- Uphold robust credit control and streamline procurement on-boarding processes.
- Execute month-end closure activities, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Actively contribute to precise cash flow forecasting, aligning with the company's policies and objectives.
- Work closely with the Business Finance and Operations Manager to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Ensure data integrity across accounting and ERP systems, implementing solutions for process improvement.
- Drive performance enhancements by identifying and resolving process issues.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the Finance Officer.
- Assist in statutory lodgements, annual budgeting, and strategic projects that support business goals.
- Handle various ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks.

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in MYOB Account Right or MYOB Advance.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded, as is experience in Construction Payment Claim & Retention Management.
