**The Opportunity**

The Shared Services Manager leads the team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable (including deductions management) and T&E processing for the Australian business.

**The Accountabilities**
- Supervise and provide direction to our outsourced shared services team of 15, and lead two local reports, to ensure that the department is as operationally efficient as possible, and that metrics are being achieved
- Monitor and follow up Shared Service performance indicators/metrics including customer invoice aging, payment compliance, deductions management, parked/blocked vendor invoices etc to achieve targets
- Help drive initiatives to automate processes (AP invoice processing, deductions management) and reduce/eliminate reliance on manual processing
- Lead continuous improvement projects, eg the insourcing of AP/AR processing
- Maintain effective internal controls over AP and AR processes and support audit requirements

- A background in high volume AP and/or AR processing or management (ideally within a shared service environment)
- A continuous improvement mindset: constantly looking for more effective/efficient ways to process high volume transactions and experience leading or executing automation projects
- Strong people leadership ability and experience managing a team
- Strong communication, business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Action orientated, methodical, and highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise team actions to achieve targets
