Are you a Business Development Manager with a good understanding of automation and electrical/mechatronic engineering components space in Queensland?

Do you have at least 2 years of experience managing a sales pipeline and generating revenue from both inbound and outbound sales?

This is an exiting opportunity to join one of Australia's leading suppliers of automation and electrical engineering components and further grow your career with the support of a nationwide company. This role has been created to service a high demand in the region and will see you on the road visiting clients, generating business opportunities from existing accounts and new leads.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Working alongside the Sales Manager for the region to develop new customers and service existing accounts.
- Managing full lifecycle sales processes and ensuring the wider team is hitting it's shared goals for the region. This includes preparing, conveying, and adjusting customer quotations to secure successful orders.
- Becoming proficient in the wider company processes and products to ensure you can support all other parts of the business if/when needed.

About you:

- Experienced sales consultant with the confidence to be autonomous whilst also being a strong team player.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience selling automation, electrical or engineering components in Queensland.
- A suitable electrical trade qualification or engineering certificate or degree will be highly regarded.
