Corporate Actions Specialist

We're looking for an Corporate Actions Specialist to:

- Be a role model for the organisations principles and behaviours, inspire others to do the same
- Understand the risks associated with your business and function.
- Gathering, verifying and disseminating information on Corporate Actions.
- Collating clients instructions for voluntary or elective events and instructing custodians in a timely manner to protect clients entitlements.
- Monitoring upcoming events.
- Performing Reconciliations.
- Liaising with custodians/brokers whenever necessary to resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensuring payments are processed to clients in a prompt manner, following up on late receipt of income.
- Have the ability to liaise with custodians/counterparties/front office to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Supporting change by identifying and implementing process improvements or cost saving opportunities.
- Ongoing self-development/cross training across Operations.

**Your team**

You'll be working in the Wealth Management Corporate Actions team based in Sydney. The team is responsible for the handling of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions and income events for corporate actions globally. This is an excellent platform for a good work life balance and working environment including remote work options.

**Your expertise**
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of corporate action events will be highly valued.
- People management experience.
- Have a strong risk mindset and be able to escalate issues and be transparent.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Innovative and able to drive results.
- Strong teamwork skill to collaborate with internal and external teams. Be able to demonstrate a strong partnership and inclusive to all team members.

You'll be employed by and work at Credit Suisse Management (Australia) Pty Limited in the Wealth Management Division the course of Credit Suisse integration into UBS
