Let’s talk about this role
As the National Head of Sales, you are responsible for developing, leading and managing the national sales strategy and national sales force across a portfolio of brands to achieve revenue and expense targets covering all Australian B2B distribution channels.
Furthermore you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and realising distribution opportunities with travel agency corporations and groups, at national and state level- Leadership and management of relationships with major distribution partners, including setting and delivering customer strategy, at the most senior levels of our partners’ organisations, across brand portfolio- Identifying, negotiating and managing major deals across key agency affiliations, whitelabel and B2B partners.- Developing, fostering and growing key customer contacts at the most senior levels of our distribution partners to deliver financial goals and ensure customer satisfaction- Position nib and other portfolio brands within the travel agency industry as leading travel insurance providers, across events, PR and sponsorships- Collaborating with underwriting to develop and improve our range of travel insurance products and brands- Leading the field sales team of Business Development Managers to achieve sales and brand goals across the portfolio of brands
Let’s talk about you
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in developing sales strategies and the management of large relationships with sophisticated customers, ideally in travel.
You will consider yourself a natural people leader with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a distributed field sales team to achieve results, in line with strategy.
Furthermore you have:
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills, both internal and external- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to deliver positive results for agency sales- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills- Team leadership, management and motivation skills- Understanding of B2B marketing principles and tools would be advantageous, especially across multiple brands- Travel industry experience is desirable and/or personal lines insurance experience
