CSO is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to drive strategic growth and strengthen our presence within the government and enterprise sectors. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll manage, nurture, and grow a high-performing sales team while ensuring alignment with CSO's vision and values.

With expertise in Cybersecurity, Digital IT, AI, and Automation, you'll bring a consulting and solution-selling approach to help businesses navigate complex security challenges. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration, enabling your team to exceed ambitious sales targets.

Who is CSO?

Established in Perth in 2017 by CEO Michael Simkovic, CSO was launched with the vision of providing ICT security services and solutions to protect Australian businesses from advanced cyber threats. At CSO, we work with organisations to demystify cybersecurity and simplify the end-to-end thinking, process, and management of security capabilities and strategies to mitigate business risks and threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership – Define and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across government and enterprise sectors.
  • Team Management – Lead, mentor, support and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring professional growth and performance excellence.
  • Business Development – Identify key opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • Collaboration – Collaborate with the Chief Strategist to align go-to-market and align on market needs. Work closely with internal teams, including delivery and technical functions, to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting – Monitor key sales metrics, provide accurate forecasting, and deliver reports to the executive team.
  • Market Innovation – Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities to maintain CSO's competitive edge.

  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen – Ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plans.
  • Strong Communication & Relationship-Building Skills – Ability to engage with key stakeholders and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Resilience & Adaptability – A results-driven mindset with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving industry.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry and vendor certifications (as required).
