Rentokil Initial has an exciting position available for an experienced Local Service Manager (supervisor) to join our vibrant, passionate, fast paced Medical Waste Team looking after a team of drivers servicing Melbourne.

**You will also be providing leadership to**:
- Medical and Clinical Waste Collection Drivers
- Internal & External customers
Reporting to the Operations Manager - Specialist Services, the Local Service Manager will manage a team of medical and clinical waste collection drivers servicing customers across Melbourne. The Local Service Manager will drive safety, team engagement resulting in strong teams, high staff retention and exceptional service to our customers.
**The purpose of this position is to**:
- Manage your team in accordance with their duties for the strategic outcomes of the organisation and the duties set in the division.
- Build and maintain strong teams, through effective recruiting, retention, and training of drivers
- Provide leadership and development to a team of collection drivers.
- Ensure quality services are provided that exceed company standards and customer expectations.
- Outstanding customer service internally and externally.
- Experience in developing/maintaining and mentoring large teams.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities.
- Excellent numeracy and written skills.
- A desire to develop and progress their career in a large growing organisation
