**About the role at Morningstar**

We are a data, research, software, and investment management company seeking a **Direct Sales Specialist** to join our team. In addition to sales competencies, we are looking for sellers who embrace urgency and accountability. We have an enormous opportunity to help clients, but it requires commitment and drive.

**Seniority**

**Mid Level** - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically within 2-5 years of experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Sales Team Enablement - Identify opportunities to enhance processes and resources that enable team performance and time spent with prospects or customers
- Outbound Prospecting - Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers
- Sales Pipeline Management - Efficiently navigate the CRM and other operational tools to create, update, retrieve, and understand information about accounts and opportunities

- Critical thinking - Identifies and synthesizes patterns and trends amongst various sources of information to reach a meaningful conclusion, perspective or insight
