Accounts/administration Assistant

**The Company**:
Our client is an SA headquartered company specialising in high technology systems for the defence industry. Due to internal growth within the company, they now have an opportunity for an **Accounts/Administration Assistant** to join the team.
**The role**:
The role will support the Accounts Payable/Receivable functions of the business, as well as other general accounts duties. You may also be required to provide general administrative support to the broader business as required.
**Duties may include but not be limited to**:
- Processing relevant Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable data
- Invoicing and processing supplier invoices
- Processing pay advices
- Coordinating travel requests, liaising with travel agents and facilitating any changes to travel plans as required
- Providing support to Reception and the administration team
**About you**:
You will demonstrate:
- Well-developed basic accounting skills with a high level of computer literacy
- Understanding of spreadsheets, with strong administration and procedural skills
- Adaptability in communication style, approach and attitude
- Fantastic time management and organisational skills
- All applicants must be capable of obtaining relevant defence security clearances (organised through the company)
