About the role

Reporting directly to the APAC IDEA Manager, the AUNZ IDEA Manager will support in creating, managing and driving local strategy in the Pacific region (i.e. Australia/New Zealand market) through a range of diversity and inclusion activities and programs.

The introduction of a new role in the IDEA team is intended to allow for a passionate team member to champion and ensure the delivery on our IDEA commitments, goals and strategies throughout the AUNZ market. You will be a key point of contact with teams and leaders across the business, partnering to educate, advise, guide and champion behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, equity & action (IDEA).

**A day in the life**:
The main activities will ensure the support of the delivery of the Global IDEA Strategy and the new initiatives developed in market, acknowledging the nuances of the communities we serve and operate in. The AUNZ IDEA Manager will support the IDEA Manager, APAC in the delivery of the IDEA Strategy, objectives and key results, which include:

- Collaborate with global, regional and local partners to develop, manage and implement local-specific diversity, inclusion, equity & action (IDEA) action plans and programs in AUNZ, ensuring alignment with regional and global IDEA strategy.
- Identify local strategic insights and cultural nuances, to advise and support on local initiatives.
- Update all programs & learning materials ensuring local relevancy and accuracy as required.
- Leverage internal and external D&I data and metrics to help drive local priorities.
- Partner with stakeholders across the AUNZ business, including senior leadership team members, to ensure understanding and enrollment within the IDEA strategy and individual/department ownership.
- Work closely with the communications team to develop a communication framework, taking the lead on drafting and preparing materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in diversity, inclusion & equity work or roles
- Excellent communication, partnership, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and strategic skills: Able to see the big picture, identify priorities and work with the overarching strategy to achieve common goal
- Strong organisation and project management skills: Own different projects, manage the evolution of the work, timelines and present updates to the wider team.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Facilitation skills: Ability to hold space and facilitate content to different groups and teams across the SSC and Retail. Lead the delivery of content to the teams.
- Related working experience or a good understanding of the retail industry
- Experience or good understanding of Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) preferred
- Passionate about IDEA
- Excellent team player and ability to work independently
- Responsible and dependable
- Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback
