Quality Officer Aps 5 Equivalent

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated APS5 Quality Officer to join our team. As a Quality Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services within our organization. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for undertaking moderately complex to complex work, providing policy advice, conducting quality reviews, and supporting the implementation of improvement strategies.
This position offers hybrid working arrangements and requires proficiency in Excel, with data analysis experience being desirable. Previous experience with NDIA is preferred.

- APS5 equivalent - $55+ p/h + superannuation
**About the role**
- Manage a range of moderately complex to complex quality reviews to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide professional and technical commentary on review findings, facilitating improved decision making, planning practice, and performance.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities related to planning processes and decision making.
- Support and mentor team members to enhance the quality and correctness of their technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the development and implementation of improvement strategies to achieve branch goals and strategic objectives.
**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents relevant to the role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to undertake quantitative and qualitative reviews.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide policy advice and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and organize workflow efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to team objectives and foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in Excel: Experience using Excel is essential for this role.
- Data Analysis Skills (Desirable): Any experience in data analysis will be highly valued but not compulsory.
