HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Internal Review Officer (APS5 Equivalent) for our client, an independent statutory agency responsible for supporting thousands of Australians with significant and permanent disabilities, as well as their families and carers. Our client is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and empowerment of individuals through their services and support programs.
- Location: Chermside, QLD
- Duration: Up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements
- Rate: $55 per hour

**About the Role**

As an Internal Review Officer, you will join the Internal Reviews and Complaints Branch, which serves as the central point of coordination for the agency's handling and resolution of reviews and complaints. You will work directly with participants, providers, internal staff, and external agencies to manage and resolve reviews and complaints in a timely manner. The Internal Review Team (IRT) aims to deliver a streamlined approach to internal reviews, ensuring timely, consistent, and clearly explained decisions for participants.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with participants to gather information related to review requests, ensuring a thorough understanding of the nature and context of the requests.
- Inform participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process, providing clear and concise explanations.
- Utilize evidence-based decision-making methodologies to reach informed conclusions.
- Monitor and manage caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within designated timeframes.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities aimed at enhancing service delivery practices, processes, and systems.
