WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

This position will have oversight of Specialist Family Violence Case Management Support Services in the Inner West (Brimbank Melton, and Barwon areas) and Inner Gippsland.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Manager for a fixed-term (until 31/01/2025), full-time position based in Leongatha, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 7.

Responsibilities for this position includes:

- Managing Rapid Response and Case Management services, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards and trauma-informed practices.
- Overseeing risk management practices, policies, and guidelines, including case management, evidence-based groups, and interventions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, participate in local high-risk panels and central intake points, and lead inter-agency partnership programs.
- Enhance service access and delivery by understanding the unique needs of each catchment area.
- Travel between regions to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and build localised service knowledge.

ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualification in social work or related Family Violence benchmark qualification field and at relevant experience, including management experience requirements
- Experience in and/or active membership in community or government bodies within the sector
- Significant experience in managing and overseeing case management and outreach support services - experience in the family violence sector is an advantage
- A national police record check is required
- An international police record check is required, where applicable
- Relevant state Working with Children Check is required
- A current full Australian Driver’s Licence.
