**What you'll be doing**

The occupant of this position will:

- Co-ordinate education activities for Interns and Residents to ensure that JMOs needs are met in accordance with the requirements of HETI and AHPRA.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate a high quality contemporary Orientation that meets the needs of Interns, the organisation.
- Work closely with the Director Prevocational Education and Training, Medical Workforce staff and HETI to ensure that the ongoing education and training needs are met.
- Assist the Director Prevocational Education and Training with secretarial/meeting/admin support.

The position is based at Wollongong Hospital, however, travel to and support for other hospitals within the District is a requirement of the role.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated administrative experience in a complex healthcare setting and managing internal customers at varying organisational levels.
- High level communication, negotiation, liaison and interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
- High level organisational skills.
- Superior skills in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in relation to Excel and Word.
- High level customer orientation and stakeholder management experience including the ability to implement effective complaint management protocols and escalation processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the legislation, awards and policies relating to the medical workforce including accreditation processes such as those used by HETI or a similar body.
- Competency to make judgements and management decisions, and take initiatives within the delegated level of responsibility including taking appropriate action to change standard practices, policies and procedures.
