**What you'll be doing**
Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Clinical Engineering Department to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
The primary objective of the Clinical Engineering department is to provide a high quality medical technology support service to clinical staff in their use of medical equipment to monitor, diagnose or treat patients in the ISLHD.
The Clinical Engineering department operates as a central reference point for all Clinical/Biomedical Engineering related issues and functions in accordance with best practice, relevant Australian Standards and Industry Guidelines.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

- Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, monitoring and determining work priorities to enable adjustments to workflows as required.
- Experience to responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment.
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedure.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook.
- Demonstrated time management, organisational, office management and high level administrative skills.
- Evidence of ability to work autonomously and demonstrated ability to self-direct to meet the goals of the Clinical Engineering department.
