Join a dynamic Cross-Agency team with the Divisional Support Officer role, providing essential support across various divisions within the Agency. We are seeking an EL1 Divisional Support Officer to take on a key role in our clients organisation.
- EL1 equivalent $600 + p/d + super
- Up to 12 months temporary assignment, pending business and performance requirements.
- Located in, Brisbane CBD, Queensland

**About the role**

Accountable under broad direction, this role involves undertaking highly complex work that contributes to the overall success of Agency. The position holds the responsibility of delivering efficient and effective high-level management support services and strategic advice to the General Manager. This includes coordination and analysis of correspondence, budget management, reporting, and the development of written reports and briefing materials.

As an EL1 Divisional Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate operational and administrative duties and tasks.
- Initiate, track, and resolve human resource issues, updating the General Manager on progress.
- Direct enquiries and requests to relevant business areas, providing advice to the General Manager on documents and engagement opportunities requiring a response.
- Facilitate the provisioning of messages and advice from the General Manager to staff within the division and wider Agency, ensuring timely document flow for clearance.
- Coordinate the end-to-end life cycle of parliamentary document records across the division using prescribed processes and procedures.
- Perform budget management functions, including monthly performance reporting, budget tracking, and taking corrective action as necessary.
- Other duties as required.

**About You**

- Proven ability to provide high-level executive support, managing complex tasks and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience in performing budget management functions, including tracking, reporting, and corrective action when required.
- Proficiency in initiating, tracking, and resolving human resource issues, ensuring progress and resolution.
- Government experience is highly desirable.
- Must be an **Australian Citizen.**:

- Be able to pass and hold national police check and worker screening check.
