**Overview**
Having successfully operated their private dental practice for a decade in Melbourne's growing Western suburbs, the new role of **Business Manager** has been created to assist with elevating their practice ambition to the next level with includes plans to open a second practice site in the Eastern suburbs in early 2025.

As the **Business Manager**, one can expect to feel a true partnership approach from the owners. It's a role with responsibility, autonomy and decision making.

**Overarching Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**: Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure efficient workflow, optimal patient experience, and smooth resource utilisation.
- **Finance**: Manage financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, billing, and revenue cycle management. Ensure financial stability and growth through prudent financial management practices.
- **Marketing**: Develop and implement contemporary marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, attract new patients, and retain existing ones. Utilise digital marketing, social media, and community outreach to promote the clinic's services.
- **Strategy**: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance clinic performance, expand service offerings, and drive business growth. Collaborate with owners to set strategic goals and objectives.
- **Governance and Compliance**: Review and maintain regulatory compliance standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure adherence to relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- **Team Leadership**: In partnership with the long standing Practice Manager, provide guidance to clinic staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Motivate and develop team members to achieve their full potential.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing a significant private practice, preferably in a dental or medical setting.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
- Knowledge of dental regulations and compliance standards.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in modern business technologies and dental management software.

The **Business Manager** position is a senior role and attracts a salary **c$130,000 p/a + Super** which reflects the qualifications, experience and skill brought to the role and the business.
