We are seeking a senior business analyst/consultant, ideally from a management consulting background to join the Deployment and Stakeholder Team to support the Transition Manager to define, communicate and implement the new myki ticketing system across Victoria, moving from Card Based Ticketing System to an Account Based solution, which includes Open Payments. This is an exciting and challenging role requiring someone who thrives on change, is flexible and can easily manage competing priorities. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating to internal and external stakeholders how this project will migrate customers from using Myki to new 3rd party payment options.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Deployment and Stakeholder Transition Manager, you will build transition presentations, undertake analysis of key phases, identity challenges and collaboratively define solutions to support the program and Deployment Managers.

  • Collaborate with wider team members and other key stakeholders to align transition activities and identify issues and provide reporting to Senior Management.
  • Negotiate and influence stakeholders on project priorities and deliverables while establishing effective relationships to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information.
  • Contribute and facilitate workshops to understand transition activities and identify opportunities for further improvement.
  • Perform analysis on transition activities to ensure a smooth transition to new system and processes.
  • Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to obtain consensus for transition initiatives to facilitate scoping and setting business priorities.
  • Gather, analyse and translate business data into meaningful insights to support informed decision making to improve the effectiveness of the transition program.
  • Track and report on transition activities, conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field / MBA desirable but not essential.
  • Solid experience in business analysis/consulting.
  • Previous experience working on complex government projects is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional strategic and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong detail orientation skills.
  • Expert level in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook.
