**The Team**

The Property Planning and Capital Works section is responsible for providing strategic property services including sustainability, and delivery of a national capital works program.

The AEC’s Property portfolio contains a large and diverse footprint to support a nationally dispersed network and agile workforce, and where the portfolio expands and contracts to meet our operational needs on for both long and short-term basis.

**The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced change and communications officer who supports the Assistant Director National Office Accommodation Project, and other key functions within the Property Planning & Capital Works section in the day-to-day management and overall delivery of change & communication strategies and plans and operational services relating to the property function.

This role also reports to the Transformation Strategy & Change section within OTD to ensure organisational change management alignment.

To excel you’ll have:

- Proven ability and experience in delivery of change and communications support across projects in consultation with other programs and related projects within an organisation.
- Ability to operationalise change and communication strategies for implementation and continuous improvement across property related functions, including development and execution of communication activities for projects.
- Experience in undertaking secretariat duties and participating in other change and communication and property related groups, networks and meetings to support the uplift of change and communication capability for key projects.
- Demonstrated experience in analysis of complex issues with the ability to propose and facilitate change and contribute to business improvement strategies.
- Proven ability to document papers, briefs and other key artifacts for various stakeholder audiences and tailoring communications accordingly.
- Ability to develop and support key internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals. In addition, represent the agency by promoting its interests in various forums.
- Knowledge and experience in successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results on time and on budget.
- Confidence and ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and negotiate with team members, business areas and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
