**The Company**:
Our client is a boutique land development consultancy that has specialised skills and expertise in Town Planning, Land Surveying, Building Design, Civil Engineering and Civil Construction Management.

This newly created role will sit within the newly created Major Projects Team who work on a range of range of Greenfields residential and town house developments, large industrial land subdivisions, and major industrial rejuvenation / revitalisation projects.

**The Role**:
Whilst this role is administrative in nature, it does require someone with a foundation knowledge in the urban planning, project management or development space.

You will become an integral part of the Major Projects team working closely with the Manager and Senior Consultants and will undertake a range of duties including (but not limited to):

- Preparing documentation and permits for new developments.
- Creating and maintaining project files
- Filing, following up and general document control of plans, permits, reports, studies etc
- Formatting documents ie fee proposals, reports, studies, marketing material
- Liaising with council, clients, engineers, inspectors and other stakeholders
- Assistance in the preparation of fee proposals and bids
- Assisting with ad hoc project administration and compliance

Coupled with that, there are a range of ad hoc administrative tasks that will pop up each and every day.

You will become the ‘right hand person’ to the Manager and will make it your business to know what she needs, when, why, and how.

In order to be successful, you will require:

- Bachelors Degree in Planning, Land Development, Construction and / or Project Management
- Minimum of 12 months experience in an administrative type of role within the construction, property, building, development or engineering sector

You will need to be super organised and proactive, demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) be really savvy on the computer; someone who can easily pick up new systems and software with advanced skills on Microsoft Word.
