As the **Safety Systems and Reporting Specialist**, you will be responsible for providing Jetstar’s Safety Department and key operational areas with timely, accurate and insightful safety analysis and reporting functions to monitor and continuously improve Jetstar’s Safety Management Systems.

Reporting into the Safety Systems and Reporting Manager, you’ll play an integral role in leading the daily Operational Safety Company Advisory Report (OSCAR) event review process with various business unit Operational Risk Officers (OROs), ensuring occurrence reports are triaged and processed with the appropriate risk rating. Additionally, you will support in maintaining the quality of data held and support the development of reporting to fulfill the requirements of Jetstar’s safety community.

**To be considered for this role, key skills will include**:

- Tertiary qualifications in aviation management, analysis, safety, risk or related field
- Experience in designing, analysing and executing reports in a digital analytics or business intelligence (BI) tool or Excel and PowerPoint using multiple data sources
- Experience in coordinating electronic databases or content management systems.
- Strong computer skills, in particular, the use of MS Office suite and Business Intelligence tools will be highly regarded
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with a high-level attention to detail.
- A positive, results focused disposition and do not shy away from challenges being thrown your way
