We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and proactive P&C Systems Specialist & Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic People & Culture team at VMIA.

**About us**
Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) is the Victorian Government's insurer and risk adviser, covering the people and projects that help Victorians thrive.
We're an agency in the Department of Treasury and Finance portfolio, established under the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority Act, and report to the Assistant Treasurer.
We provide insurance and risk advice to government departments and agencies, with more than 4,600 clients, ranging from small community service organisations to public hospitals, schools, and core service providers. We also provide domestic building insurance to builders, giving Victorian homeowners peace of mind for building projects valued over $16,000.
We help our clients prepare for, prevent, or reduce the impact of harm. When things don't go to plan, we help clients restore services and recover quickly.

**Your role**
Are you a People and Culture systems specialist who loves improving processes and leveraging technology to develop better ways of doing things? Are you a People and Culture professional that takes pride in delivering great outcomes for your customers and key stakeholders?
In addition to this you will play a key role in supporting our people programs and business operations by gathering meaningful data and assisting in developing insights that are key in ensuring that we continuously improve as an organisation.
**What you do**
As an integral part of the People & Culture team, you'll enhancement and innovation of our People & Culture systems, ensuring a seamless and connected experience for our people throughout the employment lifecycle. You're responsible for the administration, systems support, data, reporting and analytics within the People & Culture team and more broadly across the organisation.
As a team player you will support and guide other members within the P&C team to ensure that they are able to utilise and maximise the various functions and processes within our P&C systems. Each day will provide you with an opportunity to learn and develop, building your knowledge, experience, and capabilities.
**Who you work with**
You work closely with all other members within the People and Culture team to contribute towards our collective strategic objectives whilst support staff and leaders across the business to resolve systems issues that may occur and provide insights into our workforce that helps VMIA to delivery on its strategy.
**About you**:
You have a ‘can do' mindset and are eager to deliver great customer outcomes through meaningful interactions. You love working with HRIS systems to problem solve and identify improvement opportunities in existing processes and are happy to challenge the status quo when you identify better ways of doing things.
You are comfortable working with data and compiling reports in an accurate and timely manner and feel comfortable analysing data from a range of sources across different time periods.
You use your superior organisational skills and strong business acumen to forecast, identify, triage, and proactively address tasks and problems before they arise. You have exceptional time management and highly developed organisational and project management skills.
You have highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage, influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. You also have excellent written communication skills and can prepare written documentation that is credible to all levels of the organisation.
You demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness and have experience managing confidential and sensitive information using discretion and sound judgement.
You are a team player. You know how to balance your work with that of others and you understand professional pressures and remain resilient under these circumstances.
**Qualifications**
You have achieved a tertiary Bachelor qualification or hold the equivalent experience supported by course learning.
