**JOB TITLE**: Clinical Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
REPORTING
Reports to the Clinical Lead Australia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Executes effective transfer of knowledge to customers during on-site and virtual training.
Identifies and solves complex and/or unusual customer problems.
Utilizes SalesForce.Com to document all customer interactions while providing written and provides written solutions to recurring problems, including the training of others.
Identifies the need for, defines, and develops training programs using existing Terumo BCT tools or by creating new material following the company’s standards and processes
Assists in trials including design, training of site participants and clinical monitoring.
Performs ongoing market assessment of customers' technical needs and problems.
Analyzes therapy trends in the marketplace and communicates to necessary departments.
Provides detailed account feedback to Account Managers and makes recommendations to improve customer satisfaction.
Travels and supports sites outside of allocated territory when required.
Actively contributes to the preparation and presents at Successions training programs.
Efficient handling of customer complaints and concerns as well as providing timely feedback.
Interacts as a field expert with other functional areas of Terumo BCT to develop a thorough exchange of planning and information.
Transfers knowledge of therapeutic apheresis and blood component segment clinical needs and processes to other areas of the company, i.e. sales, marketing and R&D departments.
Provides phone support to customers during and after hours, including weekend on call.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of successful clinical support or relevant experience in a field sales or marketing environment.
**Skills**:Strong, demonstrated expertise in product and therapy knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Demonstrated ability and desire to teach.
Demonstrated self-confidence and effectiveness in dealing with a wide variety of student types.
Demonstrated ability to design and develop training programs and documentation.
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers, physicians, nurses and other technical medical staff.
Demonstrated and effective leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
