The opportunity here is to join a global medical device manufacturer with a significant presence in the Australian and New Zealand market. They are known and well-respected for their innovative technologies improving patient’s lives and their commitment to the development and growth of their employees.
They are currently looking for a Clinical Support Specialist to join their growing Spine business in Sydney.

The role requires someone who is energetic and driven to excel, someone motivated by continuous improvement with excellent attention to detail. In this role you will get the opportunity to really flex your relationship development skills - build rapport and trust with a small group of clinical stakeholders and become part of their team.
You will need to be personable, a great communicator and really organised as you will be offering technical support with complex surgeries within the Operating Suite. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment - no two days are the same
A background in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or Allied Health (eg Physiotherapy, Chiropractic or Osteopathy) would be ideal as well as experience within the operating theatre space.
**About You**:
- You have studied human anatomy and have a passion for all things medical
- You feel better when you’re organised and enjoy following processes (or developing your own) to ensure nothing is missed
- You love developing strong relationships and prefer to work with a small group of customers - to become a trusted advisor is always your aim
- You’re a natural problem-solver and love being resourceful and coming up with creative solutions.
- You’re familiar with the surgical environment having worked in theatre or previously observed surgeries. JEM Med can support you to expand your knowledge on working in this space if your experience is limited
**About the Role**:
- Offering high quality clinical support to Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical teams
- Assisting in the management of the logistics of loan kits moving into and out of hospital facilities
- Education and training of clinical and support stakeholders
- Ongoing training and development for yourself. If you’re looking to excel in a clinical capacity OR your aim is to move into a sales role, this position has huge career potential.
**Qualifications and personal attributes**:
- Spine experience - ideally in another Clinical Specialist position
- Professionally presented, courteous and willing to go beyond expectation to get the job done.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills (verbal & written).
- Ability to be part of a team.
- Confidence in your knowledge and your abilities.
