You'll dive into the thrilling world of people and project management, uncovering and creating opportunities whilst assisting with our expansion in the APAC region. You will spearhead and drive the end-to-end recruitment process, attracting and sculpting a team that's as passionate as we are, as we scale and grow our team in Sydney. You will be leading projects and market analysis of the APAC region to help facilitate our growth. You'll be Mentimeter's ambassador at events, building relationships that open doors to new opportunities.

**What you'll do as an Operations Specialist**:

- In-depth market analysis to identify challenges and uncover opportunities for business growth in the APAC market. Collaborate closely with the APAC leadership team to develop and implement APAC business plans and strategic growth initiatives. Offer insights and recommendations on optimising processes and improving overall efficiency.
- Lead and manage key projects, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and business plans. Be the go-to person for ensuring projects are on track, meeting milestones, and delivering results.
- Analyse and enhance our operational processes, making us more efficient and agile. Strengthen local onboarding and training programs.
- Represent Mentimeter at events, conferences and networking gatherings to enhance Mentimeter's brand in APAC and establish strategic connections that evolve into valuable opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with our growth plans.
- Help organise events and initiatives that showcase Mentimeter, reflect our vibrant culture, and bring our team closer together. Develop and implement initiatives focused on team development and team building.
- Ensure our office environment is not just a workplace but a space where creativity and collaboration thrive.
- Work collaboratively with team members across departments and offices.

**Must Haves For The Role**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, management consulting, project management, or a related field
- Excellent organisational skills, with a knack for multitasking, prioritising and a keen attention to detail, especially in planning and executing
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in building and nurturing relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Effective leadership and project management abilities, capable of leading and managing projects to successful completion
- Ability to work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities
- Proficiency in using business software tools (eg, CRM systems and data analytics platforms)
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a problem-solving approach to challenges
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Full Australian work rights
