**The Role**:
We have Water Supply Operator roles across various locations. Reporting to the Lead Operator you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference and add to our work environment, within a place where you can learn and perform to your fullest potential. This will be achieved through:

- Managing day-to-day and emergency operations of Melbourne Water’s water supply assets.
- Respond to alarms or emergencies and initiate incident management procedures.
- Ensure environmental flow requirements are achieved.
- Participate in chemical, asset, environmental, hazard, OH&S and building assessment audits as required.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Experience with water/wastewater treatment processes
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and professional way with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems.
- Certificate III or higher in Water/Wastewater Industry Operations, or significant industry experience
- Proven experience in responding appropriately to all safety incidents, and maintaining the safety and welfare of yourself and your colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to work in a systematic, well-organised way to complete tasks according to established procedures.
