**The Role**:
Reporting to the Manager Operations, IT the IT Operational Analyst role will provide support and coordination of IT assets, minor budget and Procurement. The role is responsible for providing data management, purchasing, coordination of asset acquisition through to disposal and managing Transactional vendors.

This will be achieved through:

- Assist with the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of IT’s asset management processes, framework and management systems
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on CMDB asset data
- Maintaining hardware asset management (HAM) including tools, hardware models, costs, funding type (lease or purchase), depreciation
- Assist IT Asset Management Lead with the engagement of IT domains on hardware life cycle planning
- Assist IT Asset Management Lead with asset renewal projects by coordinating activities, stakeholders, relevant communication, deliverables and escalating issues where required.
- Assist IT Asset Management Lead with coordinating Finance and Audit to ensure Asset are managed according to MW policy and requirements
- Proactively work with IT domains and Managed Service provider around disposal and asset recycling.
- With the support of the Manager Operations, IT resolve billing discrepancies with MW IT suppliers.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in Asset coordination and acquisition to disposal process
- Experience in Transactional including engagement of vendors, raising of requisitions and receipt of inventory.
- Demonstrable experience in using IT Asset Management tools and working through processes
- Demonstrable achievements in continuously improving Software and Hardware asset management processes.
- Experience in the area of software and hardware inventory reconciliation, planning and data management in the CMDB
