**The Role**:
Reporting to the Operational Technology (OT) Applications Lead, the Operational Technology Applications Owner is responsible for the overall management of services and supporting processes for their respective OT Services (Applications/ Systems) that enable our business. This includes setting and agreeing service levels and key performance indicators, and monitoring them on a regular basis.
This will be achieved through:
- Participating in the definition, development and documentation of OT Services and supporting process to support Melbourne Water Business Units, including service level agreements, operating level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Financial management of the services, including reporting, license and contract management.
- Development of continuous service improvement roadmaps for the assigned OT Services (Applications/ Systems).
- Working closely with the Business and IT teams to ensure delivery of service obligations and performance management of vendors.
- Undertaking incident and problem management activities.
We work in a flexible environment but due to the responsibility of this role, you may be required to attend to planned maintenance outside the usual working hours.
**Your Skills and Experience**:
- Demonstrate a blend of business acumen, large-scale Application solutions know-how, governance knowledge and IT systems experience.
- Understanding of information systems, development and systems integration.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues in a simple, straightforward manner that business people can readily understand.
- Any experience working in an Operational Technology environment will be highly regarded.
Your strong interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills with business stakeholders including vendors and suppliers will be keys to this role.
